Well, at least I know I'm not alone now. I, too, am at a loss as to how to persuade a giant to do anything that I would like done. What you say may be correct. However, not many businesses have these cheap inkjets. They mostly still use lasers, and probably not really new ones at that. I would think that it's reasonable to say that VFP is more of a business tool than a toy for home use.

I wonder how much of it was simply to take advantage of GDI+ in Windows - afterall many printers (host-based or GDI printers) have done just that - rendering is not even done on printers anymore but by the OS. That is how we are able to purchase such cheap color printers these days.
