Scott,
I know how to get around it. That was not the issue.
It's just the first time I needed to save it in caps and was not aware it would save it in small caps after I have my code with UPPER()

I'll keep in mind the "scientifically proven point" of the hard drive. But for now I am not gonna worry about that, since the file is leaving in an email and deleted from my HD.

Saving a file in caps is akin to Yelling???
that's a new one.

Thaks for the info.

>If the file already exists the case will be the same as the old file. Soooooo, if you reallllly want it in a specific case (UPPER or lower) then you'll have to erase the file before recreating it. FWIW, dunno why you would want UPPER because, as we all know, that's akin to YELLING. Having all files, and directories, in lower case will make your disk drives quiter - I'm sure a scientifically proven point.
