There is definitely something weird going on here! The times you quoted are NOT TYPICAL for reports of the type you describe.

To summarise, You're not using graphics (line control doesn't count), with standard fonts (Arial, Courier New), only 6-12 pages, but you're experiencing 14 seconds between pages appearing on the network printer. You do not have environment information stored in the report.

I'm trying to think what could be the issue.

What network software are you using? I would assume standard windows networking but there still some Novell shops around so I shouldn't assume this...

Is it possible for you to package up a simple repro? I don't know anything about your data or whether I could install and run the application, but I'd give it a try... unless you are able to test the app in a different environment, at home or something.

Do you think that would be possible? I'd really like to subtract your application environment from your application code/report and see what changes.
