Get real - the OT is a fairy story. There was no Adam or Eve (except maybe a troup of homilids). There was noone there to witness this miraculous extraction of a rib and the formation of a woman therefrom. Even if there HAD been, A & E being so fresh into the world, and with little need for it, writing had not been invented.

Now, have you heard of XX and XY chromosones? We (men) are inherently weak in our genetic make-up. Women live longer. Women are the more important of the 2 sexes, We are merely adjuncts necessary for procreation. 1 man can "simultaneously" impregnate a 100 women, whereas 1 woman can't be simultaneously impregnated by 100 men. Ergo we're not so needed, Look at nature: herd of deer - 1 buck for all the does; pride of lions - 1 lion for a bunch of lionesses, etc. etc.

Now these men wielded the muscle, the ability to beat the women into submission, kept all control of their lives (just as they're still doing in Islam), prevented the females from gaining education. Is it any wonder you're living under the illusion/delusion that women have a second-class status in life and in your church, submitting to the man - my arse!
