Nope, no difference. Running the query in vfp8.0 is still much faster than in my app (by about the same amount). I then added the folder c:\foxpro\temp, and noticed the temp files being placed in there. However, still no difference in speed.

Anyone with any other ideas? I'm stuck! Thanks.
