Hey Cetin,
>It depends:) Generally for me it's easier/faster to read/write/understand my own code. >Sometimes I simply don't understand what OPC (other people's code) is doing just because
>it's awfull.
Been there, Cetin :^). Fortunately, that's not the case here. We just have a
TON of code to go over in multiple VFP apps that are being used in the field
as we speak. Table changes, updates and such _have_ to work first time out
the door or the train leaves the tracks in a hurry :^).
>If it's not awfull code for the job then readability isn't much of a concern
>(mostly personal it's). If I know the writer and 'sense' the code is already
>a master piece I try to understand the code just as a 'training' for myself
>(and might use it w/o trying to understand:)
LOL! Been there, too :^). Personally, I'll give anyone a total-guru status
if they can look at the NetHack (game) code, make a decent change, and still have
the thing compile without error :^).

I eat spaghetti code out of a bit bucket while sitting at a hash table! Someone
asked me if I needed salt, and I said, "I'm not into encryption." :^)
