>Yes, "Time Enough for Love" and "Stranger in a Strange Land" are two of my favorites. I don't know much about Heinlein personally (other than the fact that he was a military man). My favorite sci-fi authors are Heinlein and Zelazny.

I'm taking a week off in August where I'm doing nothing but reading (non-computer material!) and listening to bop until my ears bleed, so I might check out one of his books. I just read some of the Amazon reviews of "Altered Carbon", that also sounds like something worth reading. Thanks for the tips.

Even if you haven't read anything by Philip K. Dick, you have probably seen some of "his" movies. "Minority Report" was based on a PKD short story, as was "Total Recall" (based on the story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale"), as was "Blade Runner" (based on the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?").
I am about due to rewatch "Blade Runner". A few weeks ago (just in time for the World Cup) I got a 52 inch HDTV and this is one of the movies I have been looking forward to watching on it. It's a visually arresting movie anyway so I know it is going to pop off the screen.
