May be is install MS XML DOM 5.0 without redirecting old version to 5 version. Check branch HKLM_Clasess_Root in registry, what branch are for each MX XML DOM version. On my compter are:
Msxml2.DOMDocument
Msxml2.DOMDocument.2.0
Msxml2.DOMDocument.3.0
Msxml2.DOMDocument.4.0
Msxml2.DOMDocument.5.0
