BTW, I've tried before to delete programmatically a group from a report (opened with RDC's OpenReport() method) but it gave me an error message telling me that I need to have an additional license to do that. I use "Crystal Reports 9 Advanced" Does the same occur with newer versions of Crystal Reports? I would like to know if there is a way to do that kind of things programmatically on newer versions of Crystal Reports. And well, as I couldn't delete that group programatically I had to create one report for a distinct layout of groups, in spite if the fact that the data on the reports is the same but just with different levels of groups.

I hope you can help me clarify this..

TIA,

Luis

>Crystal comes with a runtime report designer that you can ship with your application, but you have to purchase additional licensing to do it.

>If you want to create a report programmatically, you *can* do it. Go into Crystal and create a blank report, then save it. When you go to create the report, copy this blank report to the new report name, then open it up and add/edit/modify objects via Crystal's object model.
