As far as labels go, it's actually very hard to know where anything was produced. On most of the tech stuff yes, there's the "made in ..." somewhere on the label, but quite often the product is nearly anonymous. It says "imported by", but "from where" not too often. "Swiss" cheese, says "imported" - but not the country from which it's imported, and my money is not on Switzerland. Actually, my money is not on that cheese at all.
