AFAIK it is still illegal for you to go there but you can get permission for special circumstances. there was a story recently about cubans visiting mexico, business or pleasure i don't know, staying in a marriott, i think and the US athorities were trying to get them kicked out but failed. i suppose that you cannot know if they were on holiday but there is not a whole lot else to do there:)

>I don't know what the current policy is, but for a long time it was illegal for US citizens to go to Cuba period. It wouldn't surprise me that a non-citizen got a lot of questions coming from there. How do you prove you were on holiday, after all?
