Its 'possible' for American's to goto Cuba. You have to goto Canada first, and then travel to Cuba from there. Can't do it by going to Mexico then Cuba. Same story with the return trip.

>AFAIK it is still illegal for you to go there but you can get permission for special circumstances. there was a story recently about cubans visiting mexico, business or pleasure i don't know, staying in a marriott, i think and the US athorities were trying to get them kicked out but failed. i suppose that you cannot know if they were on holiday but there is not a whole lot else to do there:)
