while they were editing. I usually judge based on how many will be using the app - I forced them to go into an edit mode (and grab their username with sys(0) so we have an audit trail) in several applications.
Yeah, I've almost given up negotiating the hassles associated with edit-on-demand forms in a multiuser environment and mainly use "Edit" buttons now.
