What is the code that calls the form? BTW, your timer event code should release the form fine, so there is something else going on here and we will try to help you in tracking it down. You can prove the timer is ok by creating a form with nothing in it except a timer, set the interval to something like 1000 or 2000 and put THISFORM.Release() in the timer event. Then run the form with a DO FORM command. The form will display and then release when the timer expires.
