I tested the timer and it's fine.
the only code I have in the Timer.Timer event is thisform.release()
the main prg calls the form: do form intro
and the init for the form has all the properties set for the title bar to be off.
the form is modeless, always on top, and set as top-level
Cetin helped me out with a menu earlier and i can;t get it to load in the form, it always loads in the foxpro main window.

I've pretty much exhausted all my limited knowledge and resources, thanks for the support
