Thanks very much for your reply. I tried the simple stuff first, like opening the database exclusive before using referential integrity, and I seem to have crossed the first hurdle, thanks to you.

However, would you be able to tell me what referential integrity parameters are passed to make the parent and child table to delete a record together from within a view (for e.g.)?
