(but they DO have acceleration - and presumably DEceleration - dampeners, so airbags would be obsolete. Otherwise they's all be plastered to the aft bulkheads on accelerating to Warp)

Or Start Trek: "What can you see, Number One?"

Couldn't they have thought of having a camera in their comms badges, just as undercover stings use TODAY?, and TODAY's mobile phones have video capability.

And they could have saved a lot of damage by not installing fireworks in th control consoles, and behind
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
