you *can* set certificates via the soap toolkit. That said, I wrote my own communication layer to speak to AXXIS web services, as they had other ideosyncracies in addition to client-side-certificated HTTPS. I could better handle in my own code. You might check out if west-wind now supports certifated comm - Rick's code is easy to read if you need something "special" and worth to check out.
