>The Carolina-Atlanta game was just too depressing to even think about! Talk about a turnaround from the 44-11 of last January... 89 yards offense in the first half?? What was that????

The Bears' defense is among the elite, possibly #1, and I think they are a lock to win their division. (Packers, Lions, Vikings; Packers, Lions, Vikings....). They will go as far as their offense takes them. They looked good against the Packers, but as you say in another message, lots of teams are going to look good against the Packers. Their passing game in particular is unproven until it can put together a few good games, not just one. And Rex Grossman has to stay healthy, even after picking up the adequate Brian Griese in the offseason. You can see it in the body language of the other offensive players that they are more confident with Grossman in there. With him the question is always injuries. He has been healthy for only 9 games in just over 3 NFL seasons.
