Hi Naomi

Hey, nobody remembers "Noddy"!!! Another series, same writer, for younger children, but I guess not for 7ners. These are pretty old books esp. Noddy, my Father used to read it to me in '72, the writing is still older, but if you read it you will find it as fresh a read as you would expect from a writer these-a-days.

If you yourself are a Mystery / Courtroom novels fan, read Perry Mason series by Earl Stanley Gardner, only in rare cases you will find that the author is describing a very old world else the setup could very well be in today's world.

What I meant was that such books / novels don't have a time limiting factors in their writings, making you think of an old world and thus seems boring to read.
Regards
Bhavbhuti
