Kevin,
the controls will need to react to edits, saves , cancels and adds of data to bound controls. ie when the data on the form is being edited or added some controls will need to be disabled. If a save or cancel is done the controls would need to be enabled again.
I would also like to extend this to the mm data action buttons, when a record is edited the new button would be disabled and the save and cancel would be enabled and so on.
