>>Disgusting.
>>
>>Another new twist I got this week: I keep getting mailings at work and at home, albeit less often after my talk to them on the phone that I reported here in another thread. Since then they got a hold of one of the fax numbers in our offices. I have no clue how, as I certainly never gave them a fax number and certainly not that particular number. Why? Because it is not on my floor but on the Senior Executives floor!
>>
>>Last week, the IT Director (the boss of my boss) comes to me and hands me a couple of faxes.: "Alex, these came to my desk; I don't know why." I thanked him not knowing what he was talking about and to my surprise it was a couple of "past due" invoices from FoxTalk. I shredded them.
>>
>>Today (a week later), his secretary called me saying she has received three faxes for me, and if could come up and pick them up and please tell these people not to send faxes to that number! I went up - all embarrased - told her what's going on and told her I'll talk to them, but just in case, shred any fax for me on that number. Then I got to see the boss and apologized to him.
>>
>>Now I have to get a hold of these criminals and get them to stop. Am I p*ssed? You bet!

>Interesting. They've started sending faxes with my name on them to my office. My subscription goes to my home address. We *do* have a couple of subscriptions coming into the office but none with my name on them.

>All of these subscriptions will be cancelled when our office manager returns from vacation.

Once, a client of mine was having problems from a vendor sending him faxes every day. he called them, but the faxes kept coming. One day he had enough, and came up with a devil of a idea. Every time they faxed him, he would respond by sending them a thousand form feeds to their fax machine. It would dump a thousand sheets of paper on their floor. After a few days of this, the vendor called him to complain, and ask him to stop. He replied that fair was fair. If they would stop faxing him then he would stop faxing them. The faxes stop. Now I don't suggest this type of behavior, but I thought at the time it was comical.
