Americans decreased quality, Acer increased quality so than I think so Acer today equal quality as american brands.
I remembered we sold Austin PC in Turkey. First Austin PC's were coming as "Made in USA" label. After that they beginnened come with "Assembled in USA" label, than "Assembled in Mexico". Today if you open an IBM PC you can probably see "Made in Taiwan R.O.C." label... :)
Today there are a lot of fictitious brands. It makes Acer as an elite brand.
We have a saying "A cross-eyed be sultan among with blinds"... :)
