Speaking of which, have Acers improved? Twelve years ago I worked for a little company which sold them, and I wasn't happy with them at all. They were a kludge of cheap components. They even tried to make half-height casings out of beer can sheets reinforced with plastic (!). The guys in the hardware part of the shop had a lot of work to do replacing components in new machines.

But that was a dozen years ago. Did they achieve quality?
