>- OK, Craig, I admit it, Denver is really good. But so are Indy and Cincy.
I'm still waiting on Denver. They got out field-goaled by St. Louis and then out field-goaled KC before last night. Last night was better but not terribly impressive.
>- Rex Grossman sucked for 3 quarters, but picked it up in the 4th qtr and they won. He's reminding me of Mr. Favre.
Winning 3 in a row vs. the NFC North is not a test, this week will show what da Bears are made of. If their D can slow down the Seahawks O enough for Rex to win the game then they can be considered a contender.
>- The Ravens don't look much more exciting than last year, but they're 3-0. I can't wait to see them play Cincy and the Steelers.
AFC North always plays each other tough. The Ravens blow through Tampa and Oakland but struggle to eek out a win vs the Browns, who are just as bad as Tampa and Oakland. Baltimore better play a lot better vs. San Diego next week.
>- Speaking of the Steelers - they're 1-2. Which means they have the league right where they want them. It's really sad that one of the best coaches in football is in a city with the most obnoxious fans. Then again, the same could be said about Parcells.
This was a strange game where turnovers at the worst times, by both teams, wildly swung the momentum. This bye week couldn't come at a better time. Now they'll have 2 weeks to prepare for a Sunday night game in San Diego.
>- I watched most of the Carolina game - even with a win, as a team they look more like pretenders. But they have 2 awesome players in Smith, Peppers, and one hell of a kicker.
Beating Tampa is not an accomplishment this year. The Titans and Texans could give them a run. Probably not the Raiders though. 0-16 anyone?
>- Even with a loss, look out for Minnesota.
They've beaten 1-2 Washington and 1-2 Carolina before losing to Chicago at home. What exactly should teams be watching out for?
>- Is it me, or is it fun to watch the Titans fall further and further? I hope the Texans beat the Titans.
I feel exactly the same about the Raiders.
>- When the Eagles actually beat a real team without T.O., I'll give them credit.
You'll have to wait 2 weeks. The Eagles will put up another set of huge numbers vs. the Packers' swiss cheese defense this week. In 2 weeks is the Dallas game. Depending on how well Parcells used the bye week, this could be a good game. Other than that you have to wait until the end of October for a matchup with Jacksonville.
