I did not expect that reply comming from you neil,

>With your last comment you have proved you don't know what you are talking about, the Serbian campaign was an attempt to disable without damage, whereas taking a waterwall or the economiser out in a boiler will disable it for many months.

Maybe so, but what if the electricity was gotten form another country (common in europe)? there is no power plant to take out business. I don't know the details about the serbian campaign, but you better ask dragan before claiming the be the authority on this subject.

Aside this, Taking out infrastructure (depending on your definition of infrastructure) is not an easy job. Communications nowerdays are not easily bombed down. Once you take them out, they will be setup again before you know it. Also infrastructure like roads and bridges are much more easily replaced or repaired. Don't forget that a place like pakistan has about 300 million citizens and a large military potential. Thinking that you can bomb down its infrastucture with a handfull of airplanes is plain ignorance in my view. Hell they cannot even find nor stop the taliban in those mountains up there.

Walter,

>>>Hi Walter,
>>>Yes you're probably right, it would probably only take three sorties with one FA18 to take out all the infrastructure in the whole country.
>>
>>I guess, you did not read dragans email about the campaign in serbia where the americans tried to get only one powerstation out.

The do have electricity (except for now as I heard they had a major power failure) telephone, television, etc. They have airports, busses, schools, universities etc, so it hardly classifies as stone age.
