And I say they should leave too.

What if they have kids born in the US who are US citizens by right, same as you?

What are your views about illegals getting education, public subsidies and free health care?

Well, if you travel to New Zealand and have a road crash, the taxpayer will pay for your care and nobody will think anything of it. Nobody will suggest we should block tourists from the USA ;-)

The question for the US is "how do these people live in the US". For the most part they live by taking on poorly-paid and often illegal scutwork. Follow the reasons for "illegal employment" and you arrive at US consumer selfishness every time. Without community selfishness, there wouldn't be an illegal immigration problem.

FWIW I'm in LA for a day and the domestics in the hotel seem to be 100% Hispanic, presumably legally employed. At least one of them has high hopes for his kids, hoping they will be able to go to college if he works hard enough and gives them enough opportunities. IMHO he is (? would be) a fantastic citizen for this country, much more so than some "born in the USA" lazy slob who watches lots of football while his kids join gangs and run riot.

IMHO you'll see illegal immigration as long as there is plenty of illegal employment to be had and it offers people more opportunities than staying legally at home.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
