The color is interesting since when I mix ketsup and mayo (yes we have always done that in my house) it is light red. According to the ingredients listing it consists of vegetable oil, sugar, tomato paste, eggs, starch, vinegar, salt, mustard, and lemon juice. Identical to mayo except for the tomato paste. Wonder why the 'mustard' color? Tomato paste is not the same as ketsup so how much different does it taste than ketsup and mayo mixed? Of course ketsup is colored anyway - we actually tried green ketsup at one time...
