>The color is interesting since when I mix ketsup and mayo (yes we have always done that in my house) it is light red. According to the ingredients listing it consists of vegetable oil, sugar, tomato paste, eggs, starch, vinegar, salt, mustard, and lemon juice. Identical to mayo except for the tomato paste. Wonder why the 'mustard' color? Tomato paste is not the same as ketsup so how much different does it taste than ketsup and mayo mixed? Of course ketsup is colored anyway - we actually tried green ketsup at one time...

no, is not mustard color. I think it looks like that in that picture.
It is kind of pinkish color, I think(it's been a while)
Hellmans sells it but, believe me, we have done it all the time. Since my mom used to make the homemade mayo, most of the time we made the "salsa golf" ourselves.
Is not something that we used everyday. That is more for parties on when somebody came home and mom (or dad) prepared a cocktail.

Ah, green ketchup. I remember when it came out. I bought it for the kids and I think they ended up squirting each other with it one Halloween. They thought it was gross.
