Despite fears of not getting my money back, it all seems straight forward. I googled "Symantec + Refund" and got straight to an apparently no-nonsense site. You put in your order# and password, submit, and are sent a "Letter of Destruction" to your email, thence to follow the instructions.

Maybe there IS something good to say about them in that they admit they've got it wrong here and don't want any more hassle.

Oh well...
