:o) Funny you should write that! I ran cable in the lower level, but I do have a laptop now that I use regularly as well and I like to be able to move around the house (especially the front porch on a nice day) and still connect. Wireless has gotten much faster now so it was inexpensive and well worth it. The router has a combination wireless/wired so it can be used either way. I did have to implement an extra security level of course, but I typically do that anyway.
