Actually, I seem to remember more than 1 occasion with an Office (Word or Excel) application that I said to send it and the dialog was updated with a link to a problem description with info on what to do about it.
But otherwise no... it's never happened that I said send the info and then some time later getting a message from MS saying 'thanks for that, and we've made a fix that you can pick up here...'.
