>Hi everybody,

>I'm wondering if you had Phonics when you had been learning in school. We're having some troubles with it. The idea is that there are pictures and you have to find a word describing the picture that ends or starts with the same sound as the first in a row.

No such word, surely. You mean "Wreath" (as in flowers at a grave) or "wrath" (anger)?

These all "-ath" words?

>But one set of pictures we can not really dechiper.

>First picture is a picture of a dalmatin (or could it be an indication of a dirt?) taking a bath. We need to find a picture that ends on the same sound (bath?)

What's a dalmatin - dalmatian dog?

>
>The second picture looks like a TV to me, but my son corrected me it's an ice cube.
>
>The next is a wrist.

"-ath" word? Dunno
>
>The following picture is also not clear, perhaps, it's a road or a river.

Path?

>
>And the final picture is of a boy with hands on his cheeks and a soap in front of him. Looks ike he is washing his face. But what would be the word?

Lather (as of soap)?

>
>I wish I can contact the teacher, but I only have the number of his Hebrew teacher...

>Anyone with second graders have an idea?

>Thanks in advance.
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
