Yes, in the past, I successfully "installed" a VFP 6 application on the server, simply by copying two required DLL files in the same shared folder as the EXE. (Later I found this too much trouble, especially since I had versions of data / EXE in several places, so I did the installation on every machine - precisely what you want to avoid.)
In different VFP versions, the required files may vary. Somewhere on the Fox Wiki there is a list of required files.
