Ok, the controlsources look OK. Where do you open your InvDtail table? Are you sure you open it with write-read access? Put a textbox on the form with one of the fields from this table as its ControlSource and see if you can edit it.

Also could it be that your grid is covered with some shape, which prevents it from editting? Just a SWAG.
