Mike,
If you BROWSE do you do in FORMS datasession?
Make sure you are in forms datasession.>I'll just focus on the 1st column in my grid for now: the column's ControlSource is INVDTAIL.itemcode. Next I looked at the textbox's ControlSource - it too is set to INVDTAIL.itemcode.
So INVDTAIL is also recordsource?
Is DBF('INVDTAIL') your table?
ISREADONLY('INVDTAIL') is .F.?
CURSORGETPROP("SourceType",'INVDTAIL') returns 3?
>Is VFP version 6 possibly my problem? I would upgrade, but only if I felt quite sure it would solve problems like this that I will likely encounter as I convert 2.x projects...
Nope, it works all the way up (I have started with VFP 5.0). I would upgrade anyway - at least Intellisense is worth it.
What I have never done are forms - I use classes instead. So dataenvironment is not my choice.
Have you tried with the simple form I've suggested?
