Well, someone certainly didn't think *that* one through very well, did they? =(

>From what I understand from a DBA I sit next to, it's because of the way the integrated Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer. The initial dialog is for connecting with Management Studio (Enterprise Manager) the 2nd dialog is for connecting with Query Analyzer (even thou it's integrated and should detect you're already connected).
