As long as the details band wont force spanning to another page, you can do it in VFP, just needs a little trickery...

Can you describe the tables you have to drive the report??? Is is a single header per check, and a seperate detail table for all the deductions and stuff?? or is it a single table where the total, dates, deductions are all on one record by their respective field names (check amount, check #, FICA, Soc Sec, State Tax, etc)

Also... Are you running any "totals" in the report, or just plain/simple dumps of the data to print the report.
