We have differing opinions on who is spinning any particular set of lies or truths.
I see that the US involvement in WWI, WWII and Iraq are in the longterm best interests of the world as a whole. I can't say the same thing for our involvment in Korea or Vietnam.
It's funny how everyone forgets how the UN resolutions against Saddam were meaningless pieces of paper.
>That's a good point, but the circumstances were completely different. In WWI an aggressive enemy was attempting to take over all of Europe and probably the rest of the world if that had worked. WWII, same thing, plus we were directly attacked, so of course we joined the war. Contrast that with the Iraq war. We didn't join a war, we started it, and we did it against a country that not only had not done anything to us but was not a credible threat to do so. (Talking about real threats, not the tapestry of lies the administration spun us to justify the invasion).
