Audits will still apply. As soon as they know that you run offshore companies, no matter the setup good or wrong, they will audit on an annual basis on all types of things.
As a Canadian citizen, I feel I should be able to operate a Canadian company without being enforced to charge my international customers a local tax. This is totally not acceptable. This is where the problem is. I should not be penalized and have to do additional procedures just so there is a terrible mistake in a tax law legislation. That has to be fixed so this big joke about Canada will stop once and for all.
