I think I understand what you're describing, but I'd like to ask you another question. I have never used a report listener so far, because the one time I tried to use one (along with a custom preview) I was unable to print to the printer because of an "Unable to locate printer driver" error. People have told me this is a Windows error and has nothing to do with VFP, but a report that works perfectly fine with SET REPORTBEHAVIOR 8.0 bombs with that error as soon as I SET REPORTBEHAVIOR 9.0. I can't try anything with report listeners until I resolve this error. Do you have any idea what might cause that?
