>I will resist the very strong urge to gloat <g>. Seriously, you're right that the Repubs need to take the election results as a wake up call. They have had the opportunity to run the country for the past six years, controlling the White House, both houses of Congress, and a majority of governorships and state legislatures as well. What came through loud and clear yesterday, both in the results and in exit polls, is the public doesn't think they've been doing a very good job of it. It truly is time for a change. We'll see whether the Democrats can do any better but it's doubtful they could do any worse.
I am a firm believer of the Anti-Incumbent party. R or D, you have screwed up the works so badly over the last 20 years that we need to get rid of ALL of you.
Personally I think that John-Q Public has no frigging brain to see through the crap within the beltway. Getting your facts from only one side of the fence is just lame. Knowing that either the Drudge Report or MoveOn is always right and the other is always wrong is just stupid. I guess that is why so many relationships end in divorce these days. People can't give and take anymore. It's just a my way or the highway these days?
