>1. Was the workstation rebooted BEFORE you installed your update? I have noticed that if I do not reboot BEFORE our install, who knows what updates were still pending reboot on the machine.
Yes
>2. Were any XP updates done recently? There are 4 known for this error: KB893066, KB890923, KB890859, KB893096.
No.
>3. Verify the video drivers were not updated - go back to good video drivers.
No driver updates done.
>4. Boot to last known good configuration.
Yes, this is the only way to recover from the problem.
>5. Boot safe mode and remove win32.trojan (causes c000021a error)
Safe mode doesn't work, get same reset problem at boot.
I have stripped all merge modules, runtime libraries and registry updates out of the install and it still does it.
This machine is our test install machine which is Ghosted so we get back to a known condition.
I installed our VFP7 setup on the machine with no problem, looks like a problem with Installshield ?

>>Hi,
>> I am testing a new version roll out, we are using InstallShield express 5.0 for Foxpro, we install the exe with no problems, but when the workstation is rebooted it continually reboots showing C000021a errors.
>>As far as I know it is not installing or updating anything that would cause the problem, i.e. winlogon or a different gina dll.
>>
>>Has anyone seen similar problems?
