What "horse-shoe" are you referring to? The "space shuttle" ride? That thing looks so tame, but, it has one heck of a scare factor once your left hanging at the top.
The other one that I love to hate is the "pendulum" ride where 50 or so thrill seekers are sitting on a round base attached to a long arm. It swings back and forth while the base rotates. The worst effect for me was when the base reached the maximum height and you're left staring up at an empty sky with only your sprawling feet to be seen and an empty feeling in your stomach as the base starts to descend. Waaahhh...
