Fernando,
There are too many books to advice (but web sites, tutorials, webcasts, videos etc etc as well). You'd be drowned by the wast information and feel you're not getting to a specific solution fast:)
I chose C# (Maybe I don't like a language that doesn't have inline if:) so the books I'd suggest wouldn't fit to you.
Anyway I'd say that check video collection in my signature. I subscribed to it for lifetime and I think it's one of the best investments I've ever made. You can get videos from free to lifetime subscription levels. They're great and in VB/VC#. Content is from abolute beginner to advanced. Check at least, you wouldn't be sorry.
