Thank you for this code. But being so new to VFP, I am just trying to learn the native controls. My "plate is full" if you know what I mean :)

I took this code directly out of my VCX and dropped a few routines which you will need to add; maybe (restorewindowpos and savewindowpos). This works as a toolbar connecting to whatever form, and whatever object to perform the search. I use it to search in a grid of many records.
