>Agreed. I am not big on "greatest ever" opinions but it's a great story. I have the 6 hour miniseries on DVD. (A word to the wise -- there is an abridged version floating around as well as the unabridged one).

That's a good point. I don't usually subscribe to "greatest" anything because tastes change with time. I've been thinking LD was the greatest movie every since I saw it though. Of course, I now think "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" is a strong second.

As for music, I will say that the Beatles are the greatest band ever and I don't care what anyone else thinks!<vbg>
