I assumed he wanted to define RI. SET RELATION does not define RI.

Oh, right, I had forgotten about GENDBC. Actually, I thought the relation was problematic, to create programmatically.
However, I still prefer the code I outlined, since it allows you to make arbitrary changes to a database structure - without changing the program every time.
