I'm not surprised the Broncos lost. The last 12 rookie QBs who started and finished their first game lost. He'll get better, but he'll be watching from his couch in January.

I'm really, really, really hoping Marty doesn't win the Superbowl. I've never liked him, mostly his been a pain in Denver's a** in every one of his head coaching jobs.

Shanahan isn't going anywhere.

When you're up 10-0 at home, you protect the football. Cutler didn't, and one-handedly let Seattle back into the game. All he had to do was take the sack...3rd and 25 is much better than a pick-six. I still say Shanahan made a huge mistake. They didn't go from 7-2 to 7-4 because of Plummer, but they're throwing their season away, figuratively as well as literally. Trust me, I'm happy, but I don't get it.

I hope Marty doesn't win as well - but they look very very good right now. If they stay healthy, they look scary.

On Sean Peyton, I said a month ago ( Message #1166815 ) that he stood a good chance of getting coach of the year.

I'm still going with Shanahan being axed....we'll see.
