I have helped build an enterprise class system (300+ users) using StrataFrame over the last 12 months. In my view, it is significantly better than MM.Net. However, both frameworks utilise business objects that "wrap" ADO.Net data tables or ADO.Net DataSets.

Another take on this is to consider a framework that utilises a more "object" based approach to business objects. By this, I mean that a business object is a single entity e.g., an abstration of a datarow or similar, that can be contained in collection of entities (not an embedded data table) and one that supports properties that are collections of related entities. For a more domain model based approach, look at LLBL Gen Pro (not really a framework but an excellent ORM tool - there is a public domain framework that sits on top of LLBL Gen Pro called JCL http://jclframework.net/jcl/) or IdeaBlade. DevExpress also have a new framework that uses a domain based approach.
